American College of Physicians supports two approaches to achieving universal coverage

The American College of Physicians, the second largest group of American physicians, said Monday that the U.S. should provide universal health coverage and could be either as a single-payer system of health or a pluralistic approach, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. The group based its recommendations on an analysis of health systems in the United States and 12 other industrialized nations. BRBRA single-payer system of health care has reduced the administrative costs of a pluralist system, but a system pluralistic offers consumers a choice of more and more support in the U.S., after ACP.BRBRDavid Dale, CPA, said the president, I am not a political analyst.
